BETA-1 is located today in downtown Fernandina Beach on Amelia Island, Florida. The island is the northern most barrier island on Florida's Atlantic Coast, known as “Florida’s First Coast”. 

The new BETA-1 building is under construction and will open in May/June 2002. Beginning in early first quarter in 2002, BETA-1 will be seeking qualified clients on a first come, first served basis.  

BETA-1 is a short 30-minute drive from the Jacksonville International Airport (JAX). Private, corporate and charter aircraft may use the Fernandina Beach Municipal Airport. Rental cars are available at both airports.   

To get to BETA 1 by car from Interstate 95, follow these directions:

• From I-95, take Exit 129 (Florida Route A1A), the Fernandina Beach/Callahan exit. 

• Follow the signs east to Fernandina Beach/Amelia Island.  

• Proceed over the bridges and inter-coastal waterway onto Amelia Island on Route A1A, which also becomes Eighth Street once you reach Amelia Island. 

• Follow Route A1A/Eighth Street approximately 3.2 miles to the stop light at Centre Street 

• Turn left onto Centre Street. 

• Drive approximately 0.25miles/4 blocks, to the Current BETA1 location, 317 Centre Street on the right side at the 4th Street intersection. Parking is available on Centre Street or in lot behind the building, accessed by turning right onto 4th Street, and left into the lot.
